Lemmings, Lemmings everywhere
My friends from the Amiga community, reimagined as Lemmings — designed with Meshy AI from photos, printed in PLA on Bambu printers, and finished with felt-tip pens and UV resin. Plus a few guesses at what Lemmings would be up to now.
Of late I’ve got a little obsessed with Lemmings, the little creatures from our favourite game on the Amiga. They are such resilient little creatures that I thought I would make my friends into Lemmings too. Mostly I wanted to make my friends laugh by immortalising them as Lemmings. Everyone here is a friend from the Amiga community.
How they’re made
Each one starts as photographs of the friend. I designed the models in Meshy AI, working from those photos, styling them after the Lemmings, and steering the result with further prompts. Most of the fun was in the balance: I kept playing with how much of a "duck-billed platypus" look was too much.
They’re printed in PLA on my Bambu printers and stand about 4–5 inches tall. I colour them with felt-tip pens and coat them in UV resin, and otherwise leave them mostly unfinished. They’re meant to be rough.
The Lemmings
RJ has received a copy of his, and was elated.
Gino wears a Boing Ball on his cap and is showing off a floppy with Amiga software on it.

More friends
These are the Meshy models, rendered.
What would Lemmings be up to now?
Besides my friends, I made a few guessing at what the Lemmings would be up to today. I’ve printed them all. The rock star is my favourite of the ones that aren’t friends.
