How to use it
Optimise and convert
Drop, paste (Cmd/Ctrl+V), or choose one or more images. Pick one in the strip to edit it; the output settings apply to every image.
-
Format and quality — WebP and AVIF usually give the smallest files; AVIF is only offered if your browser can encode it. PNG is lossless, so it has no quality setting.
-
Resize — Fit keeps the image inside a maximum width and height (it never enlarges); Width, Height, %, and Exact do what they say. Big reductions are done in halving steps for sharper results.
-
Rotate and flip apply before resizing. Background fills transparent areas when saving as JPEG.
-
Crop — turn it on, choose an aspect ratio (or Free), and drag a rectangle on the image.
The preview compares the original and the output: drag across the Slider view, or switch to side by side. The size badge shows how much smaller (or larger) the output is. Cmd/Ctrl+Enter downloads the current image; Download all as ZIP encodes the whole batch.
Metadata
EXIF data in JPEGs — camera, lens, exposure, date, software, and GPS location — is shown so you know what the original carried. Every output is re-encoded from pixels, so all metadata is removed. Orientation from EXIF is applied before editing.
Palette
The dominant colours (median cut), with their share of the image. Click a swatch to copy its hex value, or copy them all as CSS custom properties.
Favicon and app icons
Generates PNG icons at 16–512 px (including apple-touch-icon.png and the Android Chrome
sizes), a multi-resolution favicon.ico (16, 32, 48), a site.webmanifest, and the
<link> tags for your page — all in one ZIP. Fit inside keeps the whole image; Fill
crops to a square. Add padding or a background colour for icons that need breathing room.
Nothing is uploaded: decoding, editing, and encoding all happen in your browser.

Runs entirely in your browser; nothing you type leaves this page.
