How to use it

Every tool works on the selection if there is one, and on the whole text otherwise, and Undo steps back through changes.

  • Case: camelCase, PascalCase, snake_case, kebab-case, CONSTANT_CASE, dot.case, path/case, Title Case (small words kept lower), Sentence case, and more. Identifiers are split sensibly — parseHTTPResponse_v2 becomes parse http response v2.

  • Lines: natural sort (item2 before item10), reverse, shuffle, remove or show duplicates, count occurrences, trim, remove or collapse blank lines, indent, number, quote, add a prefix or suffix, join, and split.

  • Find & replace: plain text or regular expressions (with $1 references), match case, whole word.

  • Escape / unescape: JSON and JavaScript strings, HTML, XML, SQL literals, CSV fields, POSIX shell arguments, regular-expression literals, and URL components.

  • Counts update live: characters, words, lines, sentences, paragraphs, UTF-8 bytes, graphemes, and reading and speaking time.

  • Show whitespace reveals spaces, tabs, line endings, non-breaking spaces, and zero-width characters.

Sharing

Share link copies a URL that opens this tool exactly as you have it. Hand-written links work too: ?text=…&find=…&repl=… with regex, cs (case-sensitive), ww (whole word) and vis (show invisibles) as 1/0. Nothing is changed until you press a button. For example ?text=Hello%20World&find=o.

Runs entirely in your browser; nothing you type leaves this page.
